Reiki treatments are beneficial for any kind of illness, physical, or mental issues, including traumatic brain injuries like concussions. Nowadays, a lot of attention is paid to concussions due to contact sports such as hockey, football, or soccer, but also falls, car or bike accidents, and other events.
Concussions are usually caused by a blow to the head that causes a traumatic brain injury which affects your brain function. Though violently shaking your head and upper body can also cause concussions.
Some concussions cause you to lose consciousness, but most do not. Effects are usually temporary but can include headaches and problems with concentration, memory, balance, and coordination.
Most people usually recover fully after a concussion, but extreme caution needs to be taken during the days following the event that caused it.
I would like to discuss how Reiki treatments sped up the healing and recovery process of one of my clients.
My client had a severe blow to the head after a crash during a regular weekend club bike ride. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. After all the testing was completed, my client was sent home. During the following three days, my client received two Reiki treatments daily for 45 minutes each. Initially, my client had a sore head and neck, as well as painful shoulders, arms, and legs (including lacerations).
The Reiki treatments helped my client feel calmer and relaxed, regaining energy and clarity in the head, as well as relieving the pain in the neck and the rest of the body.
After three days of treatments, my client felt energized, with reduced discomfort and was able to get back to work and travel. My client was amazed by a fast recovery, especially after comparing this concussion to another one suffered during another cycling accident four years previously. My client did not suffer the lasting effects of the concussion and was able to return to cycling within three months.
I welcome you to contact me as soon as you have a concussion to start treatments right away and prevent the lasting effects of a concussion and experience a speedy recovery.
